I think No artist should make art for the sake of art. That is such a shame. I loved how Rothko saw his art as a statement on the human condition. I like to think artists should take their art as a statement, not something to be judged.
I want to see the art of art in my life. Art is something that is in the heart of something that is timeless. It’s something that cannot be judged, and it’s something that is truly beautiful. I just wish artists would stop being afraid to be different and start being open to their own ideas.

This is so true. I remember spending a lot of time in college thinking that if I were to go to art school I would never make a living doing anything remotely artistic. I was wrong. So many artists out there make a living doing what they love. If I were to become a visual artist I’d be ecstatic. I would be able to express my creativity and I would be able to make art that I love.

I loved being able to use the skills I had as a writer to create art that I loved. If I were to become a visual artist, I would be ecstatic because I would be able to express myself through my art that I love.
