Today we’re going to look at a few tricks you can use to make the most out of your fruit.
Today’s fruit hacks can be used in a pinch, because they’re easy to make and get a huge amount of bang for their buck. But there are some tricks that can be a little more difficult.
One trick I am more than happy to share with you is the use of a plastic bag with a hole cut in the middle. You can then cut a hole in it with a kitchen knife and the bag will still have a hole cut in it. You can then use the hole to poke your finger in and squeeze the juice out. It is really quite simple.
Another trick I discovered a couple years ago was using a piece of cardboard to poke holes in apples and then squeezing the juice out. Of course, this is a bit more difficult as cardboard is not a very flexible material.
The other day I found this very simple trick (see picture below) that I learned from my friend. He says that when you poke your finger in your apple, it doesn’t give you the juice, it just squirts like a fountain. Once I found that out I discovered it really makes a great snack.
I believe this trick was developed by a Japanese chef in the early 1990s. He got the idea from his kitchen, and it’s a great way of flavoring fruits without them being too sweet. I remember his name was Koji Kanamaru and he was a Japanese writer and filmmaker.
I always have a hard time figuring out what kind of fruit you can eat. I don’t think I’m the only one. This is the time of year when I find out that there are apple varieties I can only eat when I’m at a certain time of day.
Fruits are among the most common foods eaten by humans. You can eat anything in the kitchen. You can also eat anything in the grocery store, but it might not be the right sort of fruit for you. What kind of fruit is right for you may depend on your health and your taste preferences. But the biggest difference between eating fruit and eating vegetables is the flavor. Fruit is often quite tart, while veggies are sweet, with just the right amount of salt and acid.
Not to mention that fruit is also more often available in health food stores as opposed to grocery stores.
I used to be a hard-core fruit person. I bought every fruit that was on the market, and I ate almost every vegetable in the supermarket. But I stopped that a long time ago. I just needed something with a bit more variety. Now I eat anything that has a bit more flavor.
