By I don’t know about you, but I always need more than I have time to write. And sometimes I have more time than I need, which is a total bummer. So I try to make my essays as long as possible. Here are some hacks that work quite well.

In the last few weeks Ill have been told I do a great job of writing an introduction. Ive been getting so many emails from people saying Im a great writer, that I must be. And I get so many of my friends telling me that Ill have a killer essay or something, that Ill really do great. I cant help it. I have a really hard time with it.
It’s not that easy to get better at it. But one thing I have found is that writing longer is less of an issue. What I mean by that is that even if you can write a shorter essay, its easier to write a longer one. When you read one of my essays, the parts that are clearly my weaker parts are the same parts that are clear in my first draft. If I read the first draft, I wouldn’t recognize them as such.
