By This project started out as a DIY project for me to use as an accent piece for my kitchen. I wanted to make a pretty ribbon (with a nice long ribbon) topper for my tree (which I’ve had for a few years now), but I was curious about how to make a diy project look like a diy project. I came across the ribbon tree topper diy blog. It ended up being the best diy project I’ve ever made.
The ribbon is made by cutting a 1.5″x1.5″ piece of ribbon in half horizontally and then seperating the two pieces into 2″ pieces. The topper is made by cutting the base piece in half horizontally and then seperating them into 2″ pieces.
The most amazing thing about this project (and its inspiration) is that it is so simple and easy to do. The only thing I had to do was sew the two pieces together. Which was an easy task.
The ribbon tree topper is the type of project I get asked for the most. I know what it is because I made it for my sister. She loves ribbon and I love it that she likes it. It was a simple diy project to make and the quality is amazing.
It is one of my most requested projects because it is just such a fun diy project and it can be done in a couple of minutes. I have been following along with the design to create my own version of it for the last couple of months.
This is the first time I have been able to make something that is so different. I have always thought ribbon was a color that was not quite right for a diy project. I love the way this one came together and I love the way it looks. I hope everyone gets a chance to try it out too.
