rochester mills brewery is an incredibly creative microbrewery located in rochester, new york, which is about a 15 minute drive from me. He was also able to sell to other breweries, but the only one they’d purchase was from Johnson.
Johnson had two goals when he began starting the rochester mills brewery. First, he wanted to distribute his product to bars and restaurants. Second, he wanted to sell directly to consumers. Johnson’s wholesale price was $1.75 per pound, which is $0.63 per pound for the rochester mill. This is the price that the rochester mills wholesale price was available for. It is a huge deal for any craft brewer.
