I recently watched a TED Talk from Danah Boyd, and one of the things that stood out was the point that everyone, no matter their position in life, can contribute to the world in ways beyond their own. This is especially true for people in their twenties, but I think it is equally true for people in their teens.
One of the things that Danah showed us in that talk was a list of things that everyone can do, no matter their age, and that they could be doing while sitting at their desk. So think of this as a list of sentences you could write to yourself and get your thoughts across in a way that’s a little easier to write to others. For example, “I’m sitting at my desk, and I’m writing a sentence to myself.
The reason I’m writing the sentence to myself is because I was thinking about what the sentence I was writing to myself might be. It’s the same reason that I’m writing the sentence to myself. I might see something I want to say to myself, and I know it will make me feel good, so I write to myself a sentence to myself.
If you can think of something to write yourself, you’ll find you can write a lot to others. There are many reasons why this happens. Just as you can think of something to say to yourself, you should be able to think of something to say to others. This is why Im writing my sentence to myself, and why I know its going to make me feel good.
When I write my sentence to myself in self-talk, I know that by doing so I am sending it a message to myself. This is an important psychological function in our society. Most of our language is about us making ourselves feel better. The sentence I am writing to myself, of course, is not about me feeling better; I am just letting myself feel better. Our language is so pervasive that people don’t even realize how pervasive it is.
In the video that follows, we get to see the end result of my sentence to myself. I look into the camera and see my smile, the same smile I’ve seen many times before. It says, “Hi, I am a smiling person and I am happy. I am a smiling person and I am happy.” I am happy and I am smiling.
I am glad that I found this video (and all of them) that say what I wish I knew all along. I have spent a lot of time in the past trying to figure out what people were thinking about me. I have spent an embarrassingly large amount of time trying to see that smile on my face, or on the faces of those who were with me, or even the faces of people in general.
