By Many of us have been taught that writing is a way of expressing yourself, and many of us have learned how to write and how to write well. The problem is, many writers are not self-aware or self-critical enough to realize that they write. We’ve all heard the stories about writers that don’t finish their manuscripts, or that they spend hours writing, and we have all been convinced that writing is a waste of time.
This is also why writers like to write. It’s a way to vent, to be expressive, to express our feelings, to express ourselves, and sometimes to share something meaningful with someone. In the end though, it’s a way for us to express ourselves. The trouble is, it’s also a way to express our writer selves. The problem is we often don’t realize that our feelings and self-expression and writing are all part of the same thing: us.
The problem with writing is that you are in a hurry to get it done, and the sooner you get it done the sooner you can write it. The problem with writing is that you want to write it quickly. Its a way to get it down, to get it out of your system, and to start writing again. The problem with writing is that you want to write it so that you can forget about it afterwards.
Well, I don’t know about you, but when I need to write something quick, I just write it fast. And I don’t have any regrets about using this. I always felt that writing quickly is always better than writing slowly. So I’m trying to use this trick to write more slowly by creating a distraction.
I know you can’t completely stop time, but I found that blank pages created a lot of suspense and kept my mind off of what was going on. I wrote a lot of dialogue and just let the characters talk as if they were really talking to me, and then had to wait for them to act. The more I practiced, the better I got.
I know it’s not the most creative way of writing, but it makes you think twice about what you’re going to write. You can always create a distraction to keep your mind occupied. If you want to write fast, there’s always that blank page trick.
I’m not sure if it’s a secret or not, but I use blank pages almost every day for writing. When I’m writing a novel, it can be easy to forget that I’m even writing, and I can end up doing something completely embarrassing. That doesn’t happen with a blank page, and I can usually recover from it.
Blanks are a great way of writing that doesn’t actually slow you down. The blank page is an empty space in your page, and you have to fill it with something. If you don’t want to write a scene, you can always just fill it with your thoughts.

I know that sometimes Im the one who fills out a blank page, and Im not sure why, but I think I have a general idea about the reasons.
I have found that blank pages can help a writer work out a story much more quickly than would be possible without them. The writer can focus on the story first, and then fill in the story, leaving the blank page to work on his writing technique.
