This is how I relate to the yogic martial arts philosophy and philosophy of the spiritual path, and how I view the philosophy of the yoga studio as a whole. I truly believe that we are what we are because of our thoughts, experiences, and reactions to those thoughts, experiences, and reactions.

Yoga is no different. When I get into the studio, I try to think about what that body is doing right now, and then I try to find that same quality in myself. I try to remember that my intentions are what matter, and my reactions are what matter, so I try to make sure that when I practice the poses, I’m using my body to fulfill its purpose.
